WILLIAMSTOWN, Mo. -- Jack Ray Welker, 59, of Williamstown died Saturday, March 17, 2012, in his home after a long battle with non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. WILLIAMSTOWN, Mo. -- Jack Ray Welker, 59, of Williamstown died Saturday, March 17, 2012, in his home after a long battle with non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma.

He was born Oct. 25, 1952, in Quincy, Ill., a son of Richard and Doris Tucker Welker. He married Shelia Kirchner on March 1, 1975, at the Shrine of St. Patrick in St. Patrick, Mo. She survives.

Survivors also include one daughter, Kellie (Mrs. Hank) Fisher of Canton, Mo; one son, Scott (Kimber) Welker of Excelsior Springs, Mo.; four grandchildren, Macie and Ella Fisher and Brendon and Connor Welker; one brother, Larry (Debbie) Welker of Cape Girardeau; one sister, Bobbie (Mrs. Robert) Toops of Williamstown; three nephews, Rob (Kim) Toops of Sedalia, Mo., Rich Toops of Williamstown and Matthew Welker of Fairview Heights, Ill.; nieces, Tonya (Adam) South and Teresa (James) Medley of Cape Girardeau; great-nephew and great-nieces, Hunter Welker, Taylor Welker and Caelyn Medley, all of Cape Girardeau, and Megan and Sydney Toops of Sedalia.

Visitation will be after noon today at Wilson Funeral Home in Kahoka, Mo., with the rosary being recited at 4 p.m., followed by family receiving friends until 8 p.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Shrine of St. Patrick in St. Patrick, with Father Paul M. Hartley officiant.

Burial will follow in the Ballard Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to NEMO Hospice, Palliative Care at Boone Hospital, Columbia, Mo., or to the donor's choice.
