CHAFFEE -- Jack Ware, 91, Chaffee Route 2, died Friday, Oct. 22, 1993, at Chaffee Nursing Center.
He was born April 13, 1902, at Jackson, son of Everett and Blanch James Ware. He and Elsie Rasbery were married Dec. 19, 1937.
Ware worked several years for Missouri Highway Department, and retired from Frisco Railroad Co. He was a member of International Brotherhood of Firemen and Oilers, and Chaffee Elks Lodge 1810.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Pat Adams of Springfield; two stepdaughters, Billie Sander of Scott City, Maxine Russell of Springfield; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; two step-grandchildren, and four great-step-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 4 p.m. Sunday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee. The Rev. Joel Sarrault will officiate, with burial in Lightner Cemetery at Scott City.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. today. An Elks service will be held at 7:30.
