Jack R. Lemonds, 87, of Cape Girardeau passed away Wednesday, March 3, 2021, at his home. He was born July 25, 1933, in Cape Girardeau to the late Orville and Mamie Gobble Lemonds. Jack R. Lemonds, 87, of Cape Girardeau passed away Wednesday, March 3, 2021, at his home.
He was born July 25, 1933, in Cape Girardeau to the late Orville and Mamie Gobble Lemonds.
Jack served in the U.S. Navy and attended Cape First Church.
He retired from Lonestar, now Buzzi Unicem, after many years of work.

Survivors include his two sons. Rick Lemonds of Marble Hill, Missouri, and Jack (Carole) Lemonds of Jackson; a brother, six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Dorris Lemonds; second wife, Shirley Lemonds; and two brothers.
There will be no services.
Ford and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
