BERTRAND -- Jack F. Laughlin, 86, of Bertrand died Sunday, Nov. 7, 1999, at the Bertrand Nursing Facility. He was born Oct. 1, 1913, at Linn Creek, son of Edgar Leslie and Della Etta Hanks Laughlin. He and Bonnie Jean Inman were married Oct. 13, 1934. She died Oct. 20, 1973. He and Oline Stopher were married in April 1976...

BERTRAND -- Jack F. Laughlin, 86, of Bertrand died Sunday, Nov. 7, 1999, at the Bertrand Nursing Facility.

He was born Oct. 1, 1913, at Linn Creek, son of Edgar Leslie and Della Etta Hanks Laughlin. He and Bonnie Jean Inman were married Oct. 13, 1934. She died Oct. 20, 1973. He and Oline Stopher were married in April 1976.

He lived in Mississippi County most of his life and worked as a farmer. He attended the First Baptist Church at Bertrand.

Survivors include his wife, Oline; two sons, Charles E. Laughlin of San Francisco and Donald Laughlin of Bertrand; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

Friends may call from 4:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
