GLENALLEN, Mo. — Jack Lindsey Hahn, 67, of Glenallen died Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2016, at Mercy Medical Center in St. Louis.
Born on June 10, 1949, in Cape Girardeau, he was the son of Eldon and Loretta Rose Hahn.
He served in the Army during the Vietnam War as a helicopter door gunner. Following this military service, he enlisted in the Air Force as a helicopter technician. He was awarded many commendations, including the Air Medal with 10 oak leaf clusters, Meritorious Service Medal and Air Force and Army Commendation Medals. After retiring from the military, he worked as an independent contractor for the Department of Defense.
He married Cathy J. Cox in California. She survives, along with his mother, Loretta Hahn of Granite City, Illinois; two brothers, Kenny and David Hahn, both of Granite City; a sister, Phyllis Quinn of St. Charles, Missouri; a son, Kenny Hahn; two stepsons, David Bragg and Jonathan Beck, both of Glenallen; and a granddaughter, Tyanna Dickson of Jackson.
A memorial service with military honors will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Wounded Warriors Fund in the name of Jack Hahn.
