DEXTER, Mo. -- Jack H. Cochran, 87, of Dexter died Monday, Feb. 25, 2002, at Missouri Southern Healthcare.
He was born April 14, 1914, in London, Ark., son of John and Amy Freeman Cochran. He and V. Beulah Chesser were married Feb. 8, 1936, in Clarksville, Ark. She died May 31, 1996.
Cochran was a farmer.
Survivors include two sons, Jim Cochran of Advance, Mo., John Cochran of Dexter; a brother, Early Cochran of Rives Junction, Mich.; two sisters, Maggie Dodd of Chaffee, Mo., Ruby Nelson of Sikeston, Mo.; 14 grandchildren; and 36 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, three grandchildren, four sisters, and two brothers.
Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance from 5:30 to 8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Bob Quinton officiating. Burial will be in Old Bethel Cemetery near Sikeston.
