COLLINSVILLE, Ill. -- Jack Richard Burris, 56, of Collinsville, formerly of Cobden, died Tuesday, March 5, 1996, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, Ill.
He was born Oct. 7, 1939 in Caraway, Ark., the son of Hubert and Melba Branscum Burris.
He married Bonnie Pack on Aug. 10, 1975 in Millstadt, Ill. She survives, as do his mother, of Belleville; two sons: Scott Alan Hagler and Steven Craig Hagler of Collinsville; two sisters: Mary Rowan of Millstadt, Ill., and Teresa Rnold of Arnold, Mo.; five brothers: Raymond of Newcastle, Okla., Joe of Cahokia, Ill., Kenny of Fenton, Mo., John of Collinsville and Jim of Belleville; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother.
Burris was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and co-owner of Fancy Flea Funtiques in Collinsville and an Industrial Property Management Specialist for ATCOM in St. Louis.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 2: 30 p.m. Friday at the Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Cobden. Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
