IVA S. MOREY

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Iva S. Morey, 95, of Lithium died Sunday, June 18, 2000, at her home.

She was born May 18, 1905, at McBride, daughter of Thomas B. and Louisiana Erwin Sanders. She and Charles F. Morey were married Sept. 20, 1926. He died Aug. 23, 1987.

She was a retired teacher, having taught in rural Perry County and Ste. Genevieve County for 46 years. She was a member of the Lithium Baptist Church for 80 years.

Survivors include a daughter, Leah Morey of Lithium; a son, Robert H. Morey of Lyon, Mich.; two brothers, Charles Sanders of Perryville and Frank W. Sanders of Greencastle, Ind.; and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, a sister and two brothers.

Friends may call from 4:30-9 p.m. today at Young and Sons Funeral Chapel in Perryville and again from 10 a.m. to 12:50 p.m. Tuesday.

Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Lithium Baptist Church, with the Rev. Gerold McBride officiating. Burial will be in Home Cemetery.
