Iva Roberts, 92, 542 S. Hanover, died Tuesday, Oct. 5, 1993, at St. Francis Medical Center.
She was born Sept. 23, 1901, near Delta, daughter of Edward and Elmira Lape Nothdurft. She and Ray Roberts were married April 17, 1920. He died Dec. 3, 1966.
Roberts taught school in rural Cape Girardeau County several years, and was employed 20 years at International Shoe Co. She was a member of Red Star Baptist Church and its Willing Workers Sunday School Class. She was a Sunday School teacher more than 30 years.
Survivors include two sons, Don Roberts of Cape Girardeau, Lloyd Roberts of Burfordville; a daughter, Kathleen Crawford of Cape Girardeau; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, brother, two sisters and a grandchild.
Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel. The Rev. S.S. Borum will officiate, with burial in Lorimier Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. today.
