PERRYVILLE -- Iva Justine Hartnett, 91, of Perryville, died Tuesday, Feb. 9, 1993, at American Care Center. She was born Nov. 12, 1901, at Perryville, daughter of Louis and Laura McCauly Nesslein. She first married Amos F. Harting in 1921, who died in 1946. She later married Thomas A. Hartnett in 1951 in St. Louis. He died in 1976...

PERRYVILLE -- Iva Justine Hartnett, 91, of Perryville, died Tuesday, Feb. 9, 1993, at American Care Center.

She was born Nov. 12, 1901, at Perryville, daughter of Louis and Laura McCauly Nesslein. She first married Amos F. Harting in 1921, who died in 1946. She later married Thomas A. Hartnett in 1951 in St. Louis. He died in 1976.

Hartnett was a member of St. Vincent's Catholic Church, American Legion Auxiliary and Knights of Columbus Auxiliary.

Survivors include a son, Amos Harting of Affton; a brother, Weldon Nesslein of St. Louis; three grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Vincent's Church. The Rev. Henry Grodecki will officiate, with burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery.

Friends may call at Miller Family Funeral Home from 8:30-10:50 a.m. Thursday.
