Isabelle Knight

COMMERCE, Mo. -- Isabelle Knight, 88, of Commerce died Friday, Jan. 4, 2008, at Chaffee Nursing Home in Chaffee, Mo.

She was born Sept. 18, 1919, at Benton, Mo., daughter of William Daniel and Mary Emmaline Robertson Edmonds. She and Roy Lee Knight were married Oct. 18, 1941, at Benton.

Knight was a member of Commerce Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband; four sons, Earl Knight of Commerce, Thomas Knight of St. Mary, Mo., Bobby Knight of Benton, Jerry Knight of Oak Ridge; two daughters, Delores Lee and Peggy Kight of Commerce; 15 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, a brother, three sisters and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the chapel, with the Rev. David Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Oakdale Cemetery at Commerce.
