TAMMS, Ill. -- Isabel Jordan, 77, of Tamms died Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2007, in an automobile accident north of Tamms.

She was born Jan. 16, 1930, in McClure, Ill., daughter of Henry and Melissa Porter Lamb. She married Donald Jordan May 31, 1947. He preceded her in death Sept. 24, 2005.

Jordan was a member of Elco Methodist Church. She and her husband owned and operated Donald Jordan Trucking and Farm more than 50 years. She had a love for flowers and hummingbirds.

Survivors include a daughter, Diane (Ralph) Blaney of Tamms; a grandson, Donnie (Sherri) Blaney of Tamms; two granddaughters, Stacey (Bryan) Crain of Anna and Amanda (Nathan) Caldwell of Columbia, S.C.; six great-grandchildren, Brandon and April Blaney, Blake and Ethan Klett, and Ashley and Andrew Crain; a sister, Elsie Lingle of Cape Girardeau; two brothers, Gerald Lamb of Tamms and Donald Lamb of Rochelle, Ill.; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, a daughter, Mary Ann Nelson; a grandson, David Blaney; three sisters, Ruby Miller, Georgia Lovell and Leona Marshall; and a brother, Eugene Lamb.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Crain Funeral Home in Tamms, and from 9 a.m. to service time Friday at Cross Road United Methodist Church.

The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Cross Road Church, with the Rev. Rob Grief and Pete Vinson officiating. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Lindsey Cemetery, Elco Methodist Church, Cross Road United Methodist Church, or McClure Pentecostal Church, and will be accepted at the funeral home and the church.
