Isa Hobbs Casper, 74, of Morro Bay, Calif., died Tuesday, Oct. 19, 1999, at Morro Bay Hospital. She was born Oct. 24, 1924, in Cape Girardeau County, daughter of Isaac and Esther Schroeder Hobbs. She and Chester Casper were married in California. He preceded her in death...

Isa Hobbs Casper, 74, of Morro Bay, Calif., died Tuesday, Oct. 19, 1999, at Morro Bay Hospital.

She was born Oct. 24, 1924, in Cape Girardeau County, daughter of Isaac and Esther Schroeder Hobbs. She and Chester Casper were married in California. He preceded her in death.

Casper was a graduate of the former College High School in Cape Girardeau, and Missouri Baptist Hospital School of Nursing. She was a registered nurse 10 years, retiring in 1989. She was a former member of Hobbs Chapel United Methodist Church.

She served in the U.S. Army Nurse Corps during World War II.Survivors include a sister, Hazel Kester of Cape Girardeau; and two grandsons.

Service was held Wednesday in Morro Bay.
