IRMINA GLASSCOCK

ORAN -- Funeral Mass for Irmina Catherine Glasscock of Oran will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Guardian Angel Catholic Church. The Rev. Lewis Hejna will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran after 4 p.m. today. Parish prayers will be at 7:30, and Knights of Columbus prayer service will be held at 8.

Glasscock, 92, died Monday, Feb. 22, 1999, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Jan. 23, 1907, at New Hamburg, daughter of George and Thersia Schlosser Glaus. She and Theodore Douglas Glasscock were married May 1, 1928. He died July 24, 1981.

Glasscock was a cook at Guardian Angel School, retiring in 1966. She was a member of Guardian Angel Church and its St. Ann's Sodality.

Survivors include two sons, Theodore Glasscock of Cedar Hill, Texas, George Glasscock of Oran; two daughters, Ida Mae Seyer of Oran, Margaret Niswonger of Kelso; 18 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and four stepgrandchildren.
