Irma Rose Schwepker, 94, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, Jan. 31, 2003, at The Lutheran Home.
She was born July 8, 1908, at Cape Girardeau, daughter of Goley and Alvinia Emma Schrader Robinson. She and Herman A. Schwepker were married Jan. 9, 1932, at Advance, Mo. He died July 9, 1986.
She was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral in Cape Girardeau. She was also a member of the St. Ann's Sodality at her church and the Campster School Welfare Club. She volunteered with 4-H. She was a former member of the Daughters of Isabella.
Survivors include one son, Bob Schwepker of Cape Girardeau; four daughters, Jo Ann Hinkebein of Cape Girardeau, Emma Nichols of Kelso, Mo., Mary Jane Dannenmueller of Oran, Mo., and Bonnie Rubel of Cape Girardeau; 21 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, one sister and one grandson.
Friends may call at Ford & Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. today. Parish prayers will be at 7 p.m.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Cathedral, with the Rev. Scott Sunnenberg officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
