PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Irma B. Pingel, 85, of Perryville died Monday, Jan. 24, 2005, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born June 11, 1919, at Sereno, Mo., daughter of William and Nannie L. Luckey Thieret. She and Gilbert A. Pingel were married Oct. 2, 1937, at Perryville. He died Sept. 8, 1995.
Pingel was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
Survivors include three sons, Harold Pingel of Town and Country, Mo., Gerald and Carl Pingel of Perryville; two daughters, Helen Gibbar of Perryville, Virginia Bucek of Arlington, Texas; a sister, Alma Henneman of Festus, Mo.; eight grandchildren, William Pingel of Aurora, Ill., Daren Pingel of Murray, Ky., Jennifer and Ashley Pingel of Perryville, Sabrina Gibbar of Perryville, Gregory Gibbar of St. Louis, John Bucek of Hurst, Texas, Kathy Bucek of Arlington; four great-grandchildren, Chandler Pingel of Aurora, Joseph and Anneliesa Bucek of Hurst, and Ethan Ruehling of Perryville.
She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
Friends may call at Miller Family Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. today, and Thursday from 6:30 a.m. until time of service.
The funeral will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Kevin Fausz officiating. Burial will be in Home Cemetery.
