Irma Catherine Beussink, 66, of Jackson passed away Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2003, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girar-deau. She was born Dec. 8, 1936, at Benton, Mo., daughter of John and Coletta Scherer Ziegler. She and Robert H. "Bob" Beussink were married May 30, 1958. Irma Catherine Beussink, 66, of Jackson passed away Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2003, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girar-deau.

She was born Dec. 8, 1936, at Benton, Mo., daughter of John and Coletta Scherer Ziegler. She and Robert H. "Bob" Beussink were married May 30, 1958. They celebrated 45 years together this past May.

In addition to her husband, loving survivors include five sons and daughters-in-law, Bob and Nan Beussink Jr. of Jackson, Chris and Lisa Beussink of Gordonville, Matt and Jama Beussink of Jackson, Jeff and Michelle Beussink of Jackson, Chad and Misty Beussink of Jackson; three daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Kim Rigdon of Jackson, Marsha and Dan Williams of Cape Girardeau, and Janice and Mitch Long of Jackson.

Also surviving is a brother, Jerome Ziegler of Jackson; five sisters, Mary Horrell of Chaffee, Mo., Laverne Heuring of Benton, Mo., Josephine Terry of Anthony, Fla., Joyce Schilling of George West, Texas, Geralyn Riley of Blodgett, Mo.; 14 grandchildren, Evelyn and Jeremy Beussink, Adam and Chelsey Rigdon, Courtney Beussink, James, Andrew and Natalie Williams, Tori and Maci Long, Madison Beussink, Kali and Payton Beussink, and Cayden Beussink. They fondly remember Irma as a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

Irma was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Jackson, its St. Ann's Sodality and Ladies Auxiliary of Knights of Columbus and American Legion in Jackson.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson. Parish prayers will be at 7, followed with the rosary by Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, with Msgrs. Edward Eftink and Bill Stanton officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church Building Fund.
