ANNA, Ill. -- Graveside service for Irene O. Young of Anna will be held at 11 a.m. today at Hanks Cemetery in Vigo, Ala.

Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home at Anna is in charge of arrangements.

Young, 72, died Saturday, June 23, 2001, at City Care Center.

She was born Jan. 22, 1929, in Calhoun County, Ala., daughter of Mancil and Iduma Kelly Warmack. She and William U. Young Jr. were married Aug. 10, 1946, in Spring Garden, Ala. He died March 3, 1974.

Young retired as a dietitian at Anna-Jonesboro Community High School. She was a member of Anna Moose Lodge Ladies Auxiliary.

Survivors include a daughter, Jeanne Dawson of Anna; a son, Chip Young of Anna; and four grandchildren.
