Irene Segraves, 88, of Cape Girardeau, died Thursday, April 11, 1996, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
She was born Dec. 9, 1907, in Jackson, daughter of August Henry and Mabel Elizabeth Dormeyer Sander.
Segraves was a cook with Missouri Barge Lines for a number of years. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and West Side Senior Citizens.
Survivors include two daughters, Betty Drace of Cape Girardeau, Judy Jacobs of LaGrange, Texas; a sister, Helen Balsman of Perryville; nine grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, two brothers and a grandchild.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel from 4-7 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Rev. Jerry Statler officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park.
