IRENE JONES

MILLERSVILLE -- Irene Jones, 63, of Millersville, died Wednesday, Aug. 31, 1994, at her home, following an extended illness.

She was born June 26, 1931, at Neelys Landing, daughter of Herbert and Esther Mangels Wunderlich. She and Alan "Rack" Jones were married April 19, 1952, in Cape Girardeau.

Jones was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church at Jackson, and active in the Ladies Aid.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Wayne Jones of Jackson; four daughters, Carol and Leila Jones of Jackson, Laura Diederich of Winfield, Loeta Hahs of Oak Ridge; two brothers, Clinton Wunderlich of Cape Girardeau, Oliver Wunderlich of Pocahontas; a sister, Betty Guemmer of Cape Girardeau, and five grandchildren.

Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson from 4-8 p.m. today, and at St. Paul Church Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to service time.

Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church, with the Rev. David Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery at Jackson.
