PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Irene L. Hoehn, 93, of Perryville passed away Thursday, June 27, 2013, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.
She was born Feb. 24, 1920, in Perry County, daughter of Sebastian and Myrtle Gibbar Pecaut. She and Floyd W. Hoehn were married May 20, 1939. He preceded her in death June 21, 2009.
Irene was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Helen Scamell and Ruth (Ray) Oehlert of Perryville and Kathy (Mike) Smith of Farmington, Mo.; a daughter-in-law, Doris Hoehn of Perryville; a brother, Robert Pecaut of Perryville; 12 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a son, Kenny Hoehn; a son-in-law, Clyde Scamell; three brothers, Vince, Herbert and Leo Pecaut; and two sisters, Lorene Ruessler and Mae Buchheit.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and from 6:30 a.m. until time of service Tuesday at Young and Sons Funeral Home. The rosary will be said at 9 a.m. Tuesday.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Milton Ryan officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
Memorials are preferred to the Alzheimer's Association.
