IRENE GEILE

PERRYVILLE -- Irene M. Geile, 80, of Perryville died Friday, June 5, 1998, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Sept. 9, 1917, at Silver Lake, daughter of Ignatz and Ella Duvall Ruch. She and Lawrence A. Geile were married Nov. 5, 1935. He died Dec. 19, 1996.

Geile had worked at John Bishop Poultry Line. She was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church at Silver Lake.

Survivors include a son, Lawrence "Lonnie" Geile of Perryville; two daughters, Marie Brown of Perryville, Irene Geile of Silver Lake; a sister, Pearl Weinrich of Belleville, Ill.; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and three great-stepgrandchildren.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 5-9 p.m. Sunday, and Monday from 6:30 a.m. until service time. The wake will be at 7 p.m. Sunday.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Gerry Kelly officiating. Burial will be in St. Rose of Lima Cemetery.
