MARION, Ill. -- Vivian Irene Crawford, formerly of Sikeston and a resident of Marion, died Feb. 20, 1993, at the Shawnee Christian Nursing Center in Herrin, Ill. She was 68. MARION, Ill. -- Vivian Irene Crawford, formerly of Sikeston and a resident of Marion, died Feb. 20, 1993, at the Shawnee Christian Nursing Center in Herrin, Ill. She was 68.

She was born Sept. 15, 1924, in Morehouse to the late David Isaac and Anna B. Miller Husher. She was a housewife and a member of the First Baptist Church in Blodgett.

She served as a Gray Lady volunteer for 25 years at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, and was a 10-year volunteer at the Sikeston Regional Diagnostic Center.

From 1960 to 1989, she was a lunch-room worker at Matthews Elementary School in Sikeston.

She married Clyde Auburn Crawford on March 18, 1948, in Sikeston. He preceded her in death.

She is survived by one son, Clyde L. Crawford of Marion; one brother, Fred Husher of Denver, Colo.; two sisters, Mary Deane of Quincy, Fla., and Betty LaFontain of Sikeston; and two grandchildren.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston, with the Rev. Lee Fansler, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Blodgett, officiating.
