PERRYVILLE -- Ioma I. Beeson, 84, of Perryville, died Tuesday, Feb. 20, 1996, at Perry County Memorial Hospital. She was born Sept. 5, 1911, at Franklay, daughter of Silas and Ethel Parks Merritt. She married Daniel King in August 1931. He died in August 1966. She later married Karl Beeson June 10, 1978...

PERRYVILLE -- Ioma I. Beeson, 84, of Perryville, died Tuesday, Feb. 20, 1996, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

She was born Sept. 5, 1911, at Franklay, daughter of Silas and Ethel Parks Merritt. She married Daniel King in August 1931. He died in August 1966. She later married Karl Beeson June 10, 1978.

Beeson was a member of the Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Survivors include her husband; four daughters, Jari Bollinger of Perryville, Pat Clency and Mary Ogradowski of St. Louis, Sandy King of Alaska; three sons, Dan King of New Braunfels, Texas, Mike King of Arnold, Kevin King of Potosi; a sister, Ruby Tilley of St. Louis; 18 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister and brother.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. today, and Thursday after 6:30 a.m.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with John Quinn officiating. Burial will be in Home Cemetery.
