BLOOMFIELD, Mo. -- Mary Iola Presser, 94, of Bloomfield died Sunday, Oct. 23, 2011, at Cypress Point Skilled Nursing in Dexter, Mo.
She was born May 26, 1917, in Monette, Ark., daughter of Stephen Albert and Lillie Demetra Stewart Pyland. She and Broadus Lee Presser were married March 28, 1942, in Monette. He died Feb. 16, 1995.
Presser was affiliated with the Church of Christ in Dexter.
Survivors include two sons, Stephen Lee (Deborah) Presser of Atlanta, William (Tina) Presser of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Sandra Lynne (Kenneth) Kingree of Bloomfield; a sister, Wanda Lea Barringer of Olive Branch, Miss.; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by 11 brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be after 6 p.m. today at Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden, Mo.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with Travis Quertermous officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett, Mo.
