Iola Marie Kinnison, 73, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, March 21, 2000, at Beverly Health and Rehabilitation Services.
She was born May 21, 1926, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Joseph David and Ida A. Gross Fischer. She and Andrew Eldridge Kinnison were married June 27, 1953, in Cape Girardeau.
Kinnison worked at Pipkin-Boyd-Neal Packing Co., and then at Shoppers Big Star from 1961-69.
She was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral, Council of Catholic Women, and Legion of Mary.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Carl Kinnison of Cape Girardeau, Dale Kinnison of Ste. Genevieve; two daughters, Ruann Kinnison of Aurora, Calif., Melinda Whitticre of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Joseph Fischer of Willits, Calif.; three sisters, Louise Glueck and Rita Fischer of Cape Girardeau, Edith Joelean Fischer of Dayton, Ohio; and seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel from 4-8 p.m. Thursday. Parish prayers will be at 7.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Mary's Cathedral, with the Rev. Randy Tochtrop officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
