PERRYVILLE -- Imogene Hunt Schrumpf, 80, of Perryville, died Friday, Dec. 13, 1996, at Perry County Nursing Home.
She was born Nov. 2, 1916 at Rowe, Mo., daughter of William Edward and Ora Lodema Jones Hunt.
She married Woodrow Wilson Schrumpf June 9, 1935. He preceded her in death Feb. 1, 1969.
She was a waitress at various Perryville restaurants, and a cook at PerryOaks Healthcare. She was a member of United Methodist Church.
She is survived by three sons, Edward Schrumpf and Michael Schrumpf, both of Perryville, and David Schrumpf of St. Louis; three daughters, Jean Ellen Corse of Perryville, Judith Starzinger of Jackson, and Carole Dabbs, Tuscumbia, Ala.; four sisters, Ilene Owens and Sara Glaser, both of St. Louis, "Bea" Foulk of Perryville, and Marion Bunge of Pahrump, Ky.; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Service will be held at Young & Sons Funeral Chapel at Perryville today at 1 p.m., with Dr. Larry Gallamore officiating. Burial will be in Home Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 6:30 a.m. until time of service.
