EAST ALTON, Ill. -- Imogene Ancell, 80, passed away Friday, March 24, 2017, at her residence.
Born in Zalma, Missouri, she was the daughter of Carl and Minnie (Hogg) Berrong.
She is survived by a son, Gary (Linda) Ancell of East Alton; daughters, Linda (Dennis) Roberson of Monett, Missouri, Darla (Terry) Powers of Advance, Missouri, and Cliffa VanDyke of Wood River, Illinois; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and sisters, Wanda Masters of East Alton and Beulah Staats Welker of Hazelwood, Missouri.
Her parents; husband, Clifton; two daughters, Earlene Militello and Darlene Carpenter; brother, Oriville Berrong; and two sisters, Odetta Masters and Linda Berrong, preceded her in death.
Burial will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Berrong Cemetery near Gipsy, Missouri.
Marks Mortuary in Wood River is in charge of arrangements.
