IMMOGENE HESTER

DELTA -- Funeral for Immogene Hester of Delta will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee. The Rev. Vyron Yount will officiate, with burial in Kenyon Cemetery at Delta.

Friends may call at the chapel after 4 p.m. today.

Hester, 80, died Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2000, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born July 19, 1919, at Fornfelt, daughter of William and Nancy Jane Mills Sanford. She and Watson Russell Hester were married May 5, 1938. He died April 7, 1997.

Hester was a member of Arbor General Baptist Church.

Survivors include three sons, Russell, Watson and David Hester, all of Delta; two daughters, Nancy Stoffregen and Ruth Ann Crader of Delta; three brothers, James and William Sanford of Scott City, Harvey Sanford of Cahokia, Ill.; a sister, Norma Crites of Chaffee; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; and nine great-stepgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, a brother, and four sisters.
