ANNA, Ill. -- Ima Jean Fowler, 70, of Anna, died Saturday, Sept. 13, 1997, at the Union County Nursing Home in Anna.
She was born Oct. 7, 1926, at Cobden, the daughter of Carl and Olivia Clutts Renfro. She was married to Lewis E. Fowler on Sept. 18, 1946, at Piggott, Ark. he preceded her in death on May 23, 1992.
She was a member of the First Christian Church in Anna, the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW and a retired bookkeeper for Prairie Farms Dairy in Olney.
She is survived by a daughter, Jeannie McRaven of Anna; three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a sister.
Friends may call at the Lutz & Rendleman Funeral Home after 6 p.m. Monday. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, the Revs. David Soucie and Chuck Miller officiating. Burial will follow in the Jonesboro Cemetery.
