Ila Ann Gray, 94, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Jan. 26, 1999, at Southeast Missouri Hospital. She was born Jan. 15, 1905, in Berry, Ala., daughter of William Marvin and Rebecca Irene Earnest Handley. She and Marion E. Gray were married in January 1934. He died Jan. 24, 1977...

Ila Ann Gray, 94, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Jan. 26, 1999, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

She was born Jan. 15, 1905, in Berry, Ala., daughter of William Marvin and Rebecca Irene Earnest Handley. She and Marion E. Gray were married in January 1934. He died Jan. 24, 1977.

Formerly of Anniston, she was a member of First Baptist Church there.

Survivors include two daughters, Mary Ditto of Benton, Barbara Douglas of Advance; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.

Friends may call at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie after 5 p.m. today, and at Norwood Funeral Home in Fayette, Ala., from 6-8 p.m. Friday.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church in Berry. Burial will be in Berry City Cemetery.
