IDA HAWS

DEXTER, Mo. -- Funeral for Ida Haws of Dexter will be held at 10:30 a.m. today at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Mo. The Rev. James Hook will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery near Bloomfield, Mo.

Haws, 74, died Monday, Aug. 7, 2000, at her home.

She was born May 21, 1926, at Perkins, Mo., daughter of Avery Scott and Rebecca Roberts Hurt. She and Johnny F. Haws were married May 3, 1945. He died July 7, 1976.

Haws lived most of her life in the Bloomfield community, but had lived at Dexter the past few years.

Survivors include a son, Johnny Haws of Dexter; and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by five sisters and a brother.
