Ida Forbeck

Ida Forbeck, 90, of Jackson died Wednesday, Aug. 18, 2010, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born June 12, 1920, in Starzlan, Germany, to Antone and Augusta Feiler Kuster. She and Frank Forbeck were married June 12, 1949, in St. Louis.

Survivors include a daughter, Linda (Gene) Click of Cape Girardeau; two grandchildren, Heather (David) Cantoni of Jackson, Adam (Erin) Click of St. Ann, Mo.; three great-grandchildren, Jacob Cantoni of Jackson, Zoe and Anna Click of St. Ann.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Frank Forbeck; a son, Randy Forbeck; a brother, Henry Kuster; two grandchildren, Alexander and Gabriel Cantoni.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Fairmount Cemetery in Cape Girardeau, with the Rev. Sam Roethemeyer officiating.

Ford and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
