Batson, 80, died Tuesday, Dec. 8, 1998, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Feb. 5, 1918, at Cobden, daughter of Alvin and Lizzie Frances Robertson Dawes.
Batson retired from the former Florsheim Shoe Co. in Anna. She was a member of First Christian Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Judy McClure of Anna; and a granddaughter.
