IDA A. CHAPMAN

ZALMA -- Funeral service for Ida A. Chapman of Zalma will be held at 1 p.m. today at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance. The Rev. Naamon Eaker will officiate, with burial in Berrong Cemetery near Gipsy.

Chapman, 78, died Thursday, Feb. 10, 1994, at Advance Nursing and Residential Care Center.

She was born Nov. 17, 1915, at Zalma, daughter of Guy Dennis and Elizabeth Berrong Lingle. She married Ralph Slinkard, who died in 1943. She later married Robert Chapman, who died Aug. 30, 1986.

Survivors include two daughters, Sherry Herman of St. Louis, Roberta Patterson of Scott City; a brother, Roy Lingle of Zalma; a sister, Alpha Bryant of Zalma, and two grandsons.

She was preceded in death by two brothers.
