GRASSY, Mo. -- Huewliott Richard (H.R.) Shaw, 78, of Grassy Mo., died Friday, May 4, 2007, at his home.
He was born Aug. 18, 1928, in Wynne, Ark., son of Reve R.E. and Nona Shaw. He and Betty Masters were married Dec. 18, 1998, at Bernie, Mo.
Huewliott was employed at Frisco and Burlington Northern Railroad for more than 40 years. He was an active member of the First Assembly of God Church of Scott City, and upon moving to Bollinger County, a member of The First Assembly of God Church of Marble Hill, Mo.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Shaw; three children: son, Richard Todd Shaw of Cape Girardeau, daughter, Stephanie Anderson and husband, Mark Anderson, of Sikeston, Mo., and Christina Bachew and husband, Pastor Jason Bachew of Cape Girardeau: a brother, Harold Shaw, of Litchfield, Ky; four stepchildren: Donna Daniel of Jackson, Mo, Robert Masters of Altenburg, Mo., Jill Spriggs and Tim Bain, both of Scott City; a stepdaughter-in-law, Debbie Masters of Parma; six grandchildren: Brent Bouge, Nickie Bouge, Tayler Shaw, Anya Bachew, Clayson Anderson, and Philip Bachew; eight step-grandchildren: Michelle Aycock, Chris Masters, Robert Golden, Justin Anderson, Steven Anderson, Zack Golden, Gracie Masters, Gunner Masters; two great-grandchildren: Dylan Gurney and Rudolph Huewliott Bouge; and one step-great-grandchild, Joel Aycock.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Nola Lee; his second wife, Shirley Jean; his daughter, Teresa Lorainne Shaw; and his stepson, Randy Masters.
In honor of his endeavor to portray Christ to all, and seeing The Lord he served exalted; the family requests donations to be made in lieu of flowers to First Assembly of God Church of Marble Hill, P.O. Box 757, Marble Hill, Mo 63764.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. to noon today at Hutchings Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill, Mo.
Funeral will be at noon Monday at the funeral home. The Rev. Randall Morris and Rev. Wayne Kinder will officiate, with burial at Memorial Park Cemetery in Blytheville, Ark.
