HUBERT SCHAMBURG

PERRYVILLE -- Hubert A. Schamburg, 82, of Perryville died Tuesday, May 12, 1998, at Perry County Nursing Home.

He was born June 29, 1915, in Perry County, son of Edwin and Magdelena Hoehn Schamburg. He and Elvira A. Renaud were married Dec. 1, 1943, at Perryville.

Schamburg was a farmer. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Longtown and American Legion. He was a veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife; five sons, John Schamburg of Festus, Harvey, Ralph, Dale and David Schamburg, all of Perryville; two daughters, Joyce Zahner nd Doris Mattingly of Perryville; 18 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two sisters.

Friends may call at Miller Family Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. today, and Thursday after 6:30 a.m.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Paul Winningham officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
