EAST PRAIRIE -- Funeral service for Hubert Caldwell, formerly of East Prairie, will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at McMikle Funeral Chapel in Charleston. The Rev. Lewis Stone will officiate, with burial in Dogwood Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 9 a.m. until time of service.

Caldwell, 72 years old, died Tuesday, Feb. 5, 1991, at Sikeston Health Care Facility.

He was born July 15, 1918, at Myrtle, son of George and Clara Rogers Caldwell.

Survivors include a brother, Theodore Caldwell of East Prairie.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.
