JACKSON, Mo. -- Graveside and Masonic service for Harold A. Voges of Jackson will be held at 11 a.m. today at Russell Heights Cemetery. The Rev. Sam Roethemeyer will officiate.
McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson is in charge of arrangements.
Voges, 72, died Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2000, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Sept. 1, 1928, in Jackson, son of Alvin H. and Louise Vasterling Voges. He and Rena Haydock were married Sept. 16, 1974. She died Jan. 30, 1998.
Voges farmed in the area many years. He was a life member of Emanuel United Church of Christ, and member of Excelsior Masonic Lodge 441 AF&AM.
Survivors include a son, Jim Voges of Des Arc, Mo.; a daughter, Patricia Spitzmiller of Gordonville, Mo.; three grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; and three great-stepgrandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
