Howard "Hawk" Thomas, 69, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2013, at his home. He was born Oct. 24, 1943, in Malden, Mo., to Howard and Maude Thomas. He married Jane Farrow on March 28, 2003. Hawk retired from Bunny Bread after 30 years of service. He was a member of Teamsters Local Union 600 in Cape Girardeau and Egypt Mills Antique Tractor Club...

Howard "Hawk" Thomas, 69, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2013, at his home.

He was born Oct. 24, 1943, in Malden, Mo., to Howard and Maude Thomas. He married Jane Farrow on March 28, 2003.

Hawk retired from Bunny Bread after 30 years of service. He was a member of Teamsters Local Union 600 in Cape Girardeau and Egypt Mills Antique Tractor Club.

He is survived by his wife, Jane of Cape Girardeau; three children, John of Florida, Lori of Oklahoma and Stephen of Jackson; several grandchildren; his father, Howard Thomas of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Sherry Barker of Washington; two brothers, George Thomas of Cape Girardeau, James Thomas of Indiana; nieces; nephews; other relatives; and many friends.

Family and friends may gather from 10 a.m. until time of service Saturday at Crain Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children and will be accepted at the funeral home.
