HOWARD RUSSELL

MISSOURI CITY, TEXAS --Howard Gene Russell, 74, of Missouri City, Texas, died Thursday, Nov. 4, 1999, at Mariner Health Rest Colony in Missouri City.

He was born Jan. 23, 1925, at Fruitland, son of Ben and Lottie L. McClendon Russell. He married the former Betty Marfell.

Russell retired as technical director at Nalco Chemical Co. He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife; his mother, Lottie Zeysing; two sons, Lawrence Russell of Santa Monica, Calif., James Russell of Golden, Colo.; two daughters, Kathy Galasso of Carmel, Ind., Carol Davis of Sugar Land, Texas; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father and stepfather.

Funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Sunday at Cape County Memorial Park. The Rev. Russ Davis will officiate.
