Howard H. Hinkle, 89, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, Feb. 21, 2005, at the Lutheran Home.
He was born May 6, 1915, in Cape Girardeau, son of Clarence and Neoma Bess Hinkle. He and Linda Strack were married in June 1939. She died in October 1989.
Hinkle worked at Sugar Creek Creamery and Miracle Water.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary Popp of Cape Girardeau; two sons, Melvin Hinkle of McClure, Ill., Richard Hinkle of Mascoutah, Ill.; two sisters, Helen Bowden and Evelyn Barker of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Roy Hinkle of Cape Girardeau; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Funeral Home from 4 to 7 p.m. today.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Loren Boettcher officiating. Burial will be in Hanover Lutheran Church Cemetery.
