Howard H. Flentge, 84, of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., a former Cape Girardeau businessman, died Friday, Aug. 14, 1992, at Eglin Air Force Base Hospital there.
He was born Nov. 25, 1907, in San Antonio, Texas, son of John J. and Hazel Perry Murphy.
Flentge was a former president of Roth Tobacco Co., retired from the U.S. Navy, and in 1953 retired as owner/operator of the General Electric dealership in Cape Girardeau. He moved to Fort Walton Beach 23 years ago.
Survivors include two daughters, Helen Hecken of Tokyo, Japan, Millie McCoy of New York City; a stepsister, Dorothy Culbreath of Miami, Fla.; a grandson; former wives, Mary Helen Kinder Flentge of Cape Girardeau, and Almut Flentge of Fort Walton Beach.
Funeral service will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday at Little Chapel Funeral Home in Fort Walton Beach. Graveside service with military rites will be at 2 p.m. in Barrancas National Cemetery at Pensacola, Fla.
