PERRYVILLE -- Howard G. Sandlin, 73, of Perryville died Tuesday, April 15, 1997, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.
He was born Dec. 2, 1923, in the town of Seventy-Six, Mo., son of Felix and Bertha Strickland Sandlin. He married Audrey Walker on June 20, 1942, and she survives him.
He was a driver and salesman for Bunny Bread and a member of the First Baptist Church in Perryville.
He is survived by a daughter, Sandra Sutter of Columbia, Ill.; a sister, Mary Pruitt of St. Louis; two step-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, twin daughters, four brothers and four sisters.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, and from 6:30 a.m. to time of service Saturday, at Young & Sons Funeral Chapel in Perryville. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral chapel with the Rev. Jonathan Brown officiating. Burial will be in Home Cemetery.
