DEXTER -- Howard D. Ferguson, 62, of Cedar Hill, formerly of Dexter, died Sunday, Feb. 11, 1996, at St. Anthony's Hospital in St. Louis.
He was born Nov. 7, 1933, in Arkansas, son of Ivy W. and Cora Mae Hayes Ferguson. He and Marlene Dougherty were married Nov. 7, 1993, in House Springs.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Kevin Mangrum of Brighton, Ill., Keith Mangrum of Inverness, Fla., Gordon Rickets of Ozark; three daughters, Ellen Hayes of Kansas City, Debbie Mangrum of Florissant, Yolanda Cox of Michigan; two stepdaughters, Connie Sutton of Cahokia, Ill., Rhonda Murphy of West Frankfort, Ill., and eight grandchildren.
Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jerrold Lake officiating. Burial will be in Bernie Cemetery.
