ADVANCE, Mo. -- Hosie O. Richards, 90, of Advance died Thursday, Feb. 5, 2004, at Puxico Nursing and Rehab Center in Puxico, Mo.
He was born Feb. 25, 1913, at Zalma, Mo., son of John and Myrtle Borders Richards. He and Glenda Pickett were married Oct. 2, 1925, at Zalma.
Richards was a farmer and a member of Balch Church.
Survivors include a son, Clyde Richards of Advance; three brothers, Johnny Richards of Advance, Clarence Richards of Ullin, Ill., Leamond Richards of Maryland Heights, Mo.; three sisters, Effie Grishom of St. Louis, Bernice Wilson of St. Peters, Mo., and Melva Phillips of Greenfield, Ind.
He was preceded in death by his wife; infant twin daughters, two brothers and three sisters.
Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home from 5:30 to 8 p.m. today.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Ethel Myers officiating. Burial will be in Balch Cemetery near Zalma.
