FARMINGTON, Mo. -- Homer Francis Staats, 90, of Farmington died Sunday, Jan. 25, 2004, at Parkland Health Center.
He was born Jan. 16, 1914, at Arab, Mo., son of Perry and Alma Shell Staats. He and Dora Lee were married Aug. 31, 1937, at Marble Hill, Mo. She died April 29, 2003.
Staats was a bottler 41 years at Pevely Dairy.
Survivors include two sons, Roger Staats of Farmington, Larry Staats of Park Hills, Mo.; a daughter, Virginia Staudinger of Belton, Mo.; a brother, Harold Staats of Zalma, Mo.; three sisters, Rosa Chambers of Overland, Mo., Kathryn Fish of Arab, Stella Pittman of Advance, Mo.; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three sisters, a brother and a grandson.
Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Beatty Cemetery near Arab.
