PERRYVILLE - Perryville resident Homer H. Springer died Sunday, March 31, 1991 at his home. He was 75.
Springer was born April 25, 1915 at Friedenberg, the son of the late Charles F. and Emma Bergman Springer. He married Lorean Bishop Feb. 7, 1944. She survives.
Surviving are daughters Janet Johnston of Valley Park and Sharon Springer of Perryville and one great-grandchild. Six brothers and four sisters preceded him in death.
Springer was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville. As well, he was a member of American Legion Post No. 133 and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 4282, having served in the Army during World War II. Both posts are in Perryville,
Visitation will be after 4 p.m. today at Young & Sons in Perryville. A VFW wake service will be held at Young & Sons at 7 p.m.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Immanuel Lutheran, with the Rev. Jeffrey Lloyd officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
