DEXTER -- Funeral service for Homer Curtis Cawhorn of Dexter will be held at 11:30 a.m. today at Watkins and Sons Funeral Chapel in Dexter, with the Rev. Clifford Wray officiating. Burial will be in Hagy Cemetery here.
Cawhorn, 78, died Thursday, Aug. 4, 1994, at Dexter Memorial Hospital.
He was born March 28, 1916, near Lilbourn, son of Will and Ada Henry Cawhorn.
Cawhorn lived in St. Louis 25 years, but spent most of his life in the Dexter and New Madrid areas. He was retired from a paint factory.
Survivors include a son, Larry Cawhorn of LaMirada, Calif.; a daughter, Judy Rachell of Freeburg, Ill.; six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
