Hildred Whitehead

ANNA, Ill. -- Hildred A. Whitehead, 67, of Anna died Friday, Oct. 15, 2004, at the City Care Center in Anna.

She was born Jan. 25, 1937, at Kalamazoo, Mich., daughter of Roy Elmer and Opal B. Morford Hulet. She and William Thomas Whitehead were married June 1, 1957, at East St. Louis, Ill. He died Oct. 22, 1975.

Survivors include two daughters, Opal Peters of Tamms, Ill., Sally Casey of Anna; two sons, Jim Whitehead of Jonesboro, Ill., Tom Whitehead of Anna; a brother, Jerry Hulet of Kalamazoo; a sister, Margaret Hulet of Anna; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Anna Cemetery, with the Rev. Doug Bridgeman officiating. Friends may call at the time of the service.
